IN 1959, THE BRITISH MOTOR CORPORATION LAUNCHED A COMPACT 2 DOOR, 4 SEATER CAR DESIGNED BY SIR ALEC ISSIGONIS. THIS CAR WAS CHRISTENED THE AUSTIN SEVEN AND THE MORRIS MINI AND OVERNIGHT AN ICON WAS CREATED

IN 1966, BOUYED BY THE SUCCESS OF HIS THREEWHEELER PEEL MICROCARS,
CYRIL CANNELL DESIGNED A 2 DOOR GRP MONOCOQUE TO REPLACE DAMAGED OR RUSTING MINI BODYSHELLS, HIS CAR BECAME KNOWN AS THE PEEL VIKING SPORT GT. MOST OF THESE CARS WERE SOLD AS KITS, BUT A FEW TURNKEY CARS WERE ALSO MADE. OF THE 30 PRODUCED, ONLY SEVEN ARE THOUGHT TO HAVE SURVIVED.



IN 2015, EXO SPORTS CARS LTD PURCHASED THE FIFTY YEAR OLD MOULDS AS USED BY PEEL IN THEIR ISLE OF MAN FACTORY AND PRODUCED A BRAND NEW MONOCOQUE SIGNALLING THE REBIRTH OF THE
PEEL VIKING SPORT GT BOTH AS A MINI BASED KIT AND A NEW, TURNKEY CAR AS INTENDED BY ITS DESIGNER AND CREATOR,
