TRUE TO THE SPIRIT OF THE ORIGINAL 1960'S PEEL VIKING, WE ARE OFFERING A DIY OPTION FOR THOSE CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE A RUSTY OLD CLASSIC MINI WITH GOOD MECHANICAL COMPONENTS BUT IN NEED OF NEW BODYWORK. THE KIT WILL ACCEPT DONOR PARTS FROM ALL 60's, 70's, 80's AND 90's MINIS ALTHOUGH A FEW EXTRA COMPONENTS WILL BE NEEDED IF LATER MINIS ARE USED.

EVEN THOUGH THE MOULDS ARE 50 YEARS OLD, THE QUALITY OF THE FIRST MONOCOQUE TO BE PRODUCED IN OUR WORKSHOPS HAS EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS.

THE BONNET IS INCLUDED IN THE KIT AND EARLY DOOR BOTTOMS ARE ON THE OPTIONS LIST IF YOU HAVE A LATER MINI AS THE DOORS NEED TO BE MODIFIED TO FIT THE 60's SHAPED DOOR APERTURE.

FRONT AND REAR SUBFRAMES BOLT STRAIGHT INTO THE SHELL AND THE INNER FRAME THAT JOINS THE TWO SUBFRAMES TOGETHER AND PROVIDES SEAT BELT MOUNTS IS BONDED INTO THE FLOOR AND 'B' PILLARS


MODERN HEADLAMP DESIGN MEANS THAT THE VIKING GT SPORT WILL PASS A CURRENT IVA TEST AND WE CAN ASSIST YOU IN THIS AS WE HAVE EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DVSA'S REQUIREMENTS IN RESPECT OF CERTIFYING KIT BUILT VEHICLES FOR ROADWORTHYNESS.

YOU CAN SOURCE YOUR MINI PARTS FROM A SINGLE DONOR CAR AND SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO DO THIS YOU WILL RECEIVE A PLATE THAT IS AGE RELATED TO YOUR DONOR CAR WHEN THE DVLA REGISTER THE CAR.

IF YOU DECIDE TO SPLASH OUT ON NEW COMPONENTS, YOU CAN MEET THE CRITERIA REQUIRED BY THE DVLA TO REGISTER THE CAR AS A BRAND NEW VEHICLE. I'M SURE THAT THE LATE CYRIL CANNELL WOULD BE DELIGHTED.
